Conscience-stricken Starbucks customer James Atkinson has announced that he will, in future, offer to pay income tax on his cash ISA.
"I know, legally, I don't have to pay any tax at all on a cash ISA" he announced "But with the government being so short of money and all that, it seems the only decent thing to do. The offer from Starbucks, to actually pay some UK Corporation Tax in future, has set a shining example to all of us."
