Steve McKintosh from JJB said.</p> <p>"Yes, we know it's been designed by the players. Yes we know it's for the world Cup. But the idea is that fans will have to wear it and that just won't be happening."</p> <p>The strip has been designed by former captain John Terry and Ashley Cole and features no top, no shorts or socks, just a set of stick-on logos. The pair based it on what they regularly play away in.</p> <p>"I mean, can you see some 50 year old from Bolton going down his local to watch a match with just an UMBRO logo, a red star and the England shield on his chest? For all our sakes, I hope not." </p>
