He continued into his 30s before trying to shed it in the late 1980s. The ploy failed and he is still known the world over as ‘Kid’ despite now being in his 60s. </p> <p>Last month Karate Kid actor Ralph Macchio was sentenced to 7 years for fraud after it emerged he was 23 at the time of shooting the movie. The offences came to light after police investigated allegations against the late outlaw William H Bonney (or Billy The Kid). His body is set to be exhumed after several people came forward claiming he was 21 when he died.</p> <p>Officers are also hoping to question Kid Rock and Supermodel Jodie Kidd on related charges. </p>
