Honest in sense that we had 24 hour sex parties and that was it. Nothing more. Looking back now I suppose I was very naive.</p> <p>NN: And when did you first suspect there was something 'darker' happening?</p> <p>ES: October 5th 1971. Then he told me it was a 'recud'</p> <p>NN: Don't you mean record?</p> <p>ES: No. It was the culture for DJs to effect an American pronunciation so he called it a 'recud'. The next thing I knew he put the 'recud' onto a turntable and played it. Over the airwaves.</p> <p>NN: How did you feel about that?</p> <p>ES: I felt dirty. Used. Defiled. As did the nation.</p> <p>NN: Why was that?</p> <p>ES: It was Shangalang.</p> <p>NN: Did you think about reporting him?</p> <p>ES: No-one would have believed me. Besides they were all at it. It was the culture back then. Saville was the worst.</p> <p>NN: What was his favorite?</p> <p>ES: 'Two little Boys'. And he enjoyed playing 'recuds' as well.</p> <p>NN: And finally, can you drop us in it please?</p> <p>ES: Yes. Lord Coe was one of the DJs.
