So postponement of the election is the only sensible option.”</p> <p>“Obviously the last thing anyone wants is for politicians to make political capital from this terrible tragedy while there is clean-up work to do, so the postponement will be for a minimum period of four years. It could even be longer – with my luck with the weather there might be a tornado in Kansas or some really annoying fog and drizzle in Chicago.” </p>
