'Of course I've seen these things on television after the nine o' clock watershed, but meeting one in real life was a shock I can tell you.'</p> <p>Mr Gates has been offered counselling by Wolverhampton social services trauma unit.</p> <p>Mr and Mrs O'Malley say they didn't buy the sofa and have no idea how it arrived in their living room.</p> <p>The couple are reported to be upset and embarrassed by the incident. </p> <p>'They've gone for a long lie down,' a neighbour said.</p> <p>A Furniture Village purple leather sofa found in a Walsall flat in 2011 was safely destroyed by an army bomb disposal unit. </p>
