"We were so close. So much work has gone in over the years and we were just weeks away from declaring racism over. Now the actions of this small number of footballers has rendered all that completely meaningless and we're back to square one".</p> <p>"I don't think these players realise what they've done", concluded Lasserre. "We might have to disband the whole agency now", she said through the tears. </p>
