A schoolboy from Swindon who was struck by lightning outside his school is said to be disappointed at the lack of SuperPowers resulting from the incident.
The boy, aged 11 is said to be stable but gutted.
"I thought I'd at least be able to change channels with the power of my mind or something... maybe even interfere with the heart monitoring equipment"

A Statement from Joe's mother said:"He's grown up reading comics and watching Hollywood movies, and finally his chance comes along and.. well.. nothing. It's heartbreaking. He's just sitting in bed pointing his puny, little human finger at things waiting for them to spark into life or melt or something."

Lawyers for the family are said to be preparing a case against Marvel comics and universal pictures for placing unrealistic expectations on the boy.
