The foundation paper is so called because it prepares students who take it for a career in brick laying. This is one area where there will in fact be an emphasis on coursework. And there will be one paper for advanced learners. Presumably the Telegraph.</p> <p>Instead of schools choosing between competing exam boards, one exam board will be given a five year contract, which is more than the pupils who sit the foundation paper can hope for.</p> <p>Mr Gove went on to state that he will also be boycotting IKEA, as he is vehemently opposed to modular units.</p> <p>Teachers were quick to respond to the Education Secretary’s statements, with biology teachers in particular defending the merits of internal assessments. </p>
