Sorry Bonjo and Mr Nutjob. I will stick to more sensible names in the future.

Dear Editor,

I saw something jarring when reading the otherwise lovely sub on burglar commending bravery of judges - the name "Jo Nutjob".

The site has a clear rule stating that:

"We don’t go for silly names – they tend to detract from the purity of the comedy idea."*

Now, as far as I know "Nutjob" is not a common surname. 192.com reveals no matches for the surname in the UK.

However, the ever helpful google returns 1,500 results for 'Mr Nutjob' and 350 for 'Mrs Nutjob'. More worringly over 2,300 for 'Dr Nutjob'.

Still, I would wager that Nutjob is not a recognised surname in any part of the world, and as such slightly detracts from the comedic value of the submission. The fact that the name was essentially at eye level when browsing the front page of newsbiscuit.com does slightly bring a tear to my eye.

Yours sincerely,

Bonjo Eohippus Nelson

* I know that I submitted "Boutros Boutros Jones" in one of my stories. But two wrongs don't make a right, etc.
