If certain puppets re-wrote the scripts, how come they couldn't even walk properly?”</p> <p>They continued with a stream of attacks writing: “I can tell you EXACTLY how much of it the puppets wrote: not a f***ing comma. We were pulling the strings! Cast contribution to script? Big fat zero. Not only did we put the words into their mouths, we opened and closed their mouths too."</p> <p>Sylvia went on to add, "In some of those close ups shots it's not even a puppet's hand you see opening the tea pot communicator, they're mine! The puppets couldn't even grasp a lid let alone the fundamentals of writing!"</p> <p>She sarcastically added, “I was going to be writing today, instead I’m just going to hand the puppets a pad and pen. I wish I’d learned this years ago.”</p> <p>They also described the puppet's acting as ''stiff', adding, "That early children's program wasn't called 'The Wooden Tops' for nothing".</p> <p>The row is similar to an outbursts by Sooty and Sweep a few years ago after Harry and Matthew Corbett claimed to have "had a hand" in their success. The cuddly duo responded by accusing the Corbetts of 'fingering' Sue. </p>
