Next sales drive will focus on politicians and News International management, where a strategic deployment & withdrawal of 'The Mattress' may well pay err .. I don't recall

"After sleeping on a memory foam mattress for only a week I remembered where I put my long lost keys, could retain long number strings and could also recall the date of the battle of Lepanto," reported a Northampton psychologist Dr Mike Dent. "It was 1541. Two years later my study shows those who sleep on those er kind of mattresses can remember events long in the past as well as recall in minute detail the events of their, er, well their stuff."

Dr Dent has now gone on on to test the theory in reverse. After two years of memory foam sleeping he abruptly switched back to a standard mattress. This has resulted after just two months in a steep decline in his memory, possibly to below pre-foam levels: "Like, now, when I have been sleeping on a normal, er, well bed thing, I've found, and this may be a trend, I have found...well, I've written it down somewhere. Mattress! That was the word I was looking for. Mattress, mattress mattress. The more you say it the less it means. What was the question again?"
