1. Tie children's inflatable lilos to your feet and go mud skating.

2. Wear a wetsuit, snorkel and flippers- practical, and so funny you'll probably get laid (if you are capable of disrobing)

3. Abandon, and take a bottle to Tally-Ho's barbecue (By the way, is a Tally-Ho an upper-class gangster whore?)

We could pluck all the peacocks and make a small feather raft I suppose.
At least in the rain and mud I get to wear a big coat. Sat in the shop it's chuffing freezing!

Have you considered felling a few of the trees and running up a bit of decking.
They've got stacks of trees there, nobody would notice a few go missing.

Larmer Tree festival this weekend. We have been going to this event for 18 years but this year its VERY wet.
Yesterday I was shivering in the shop thinking, "do I really want to go and get cold, wet and muddy?" Then a Tally Ho! sort of woman came in. She wanted some robust wine for a BBQ. Really? "Oh yes", she said. "Sod the weather I'm going to continue to do what I want. Just needs more planning."
So, with this in mind I donned my boots, shorts and waterproofs and had a good evening. Got up at 7am, drove back home had a shower and went to work.
I now have to do it again tonight and Sunday night. Apparently it will stop raining by 9pm.
Trying to get into the mind-set of Tally Ho lady: No such thing as bad weather, just bad planning and innapropriate clothing.
Any suggestions on making 20 acres of sticky mud into fun (that doesn't involve nakedness)
