Douglas Adams called it 'zen navigation'. It works a treat.

im glad that my navigational tenet of 'ooh he looks like he knows where hes going, i'll follow him' is shared by other drivers. it makes so much SENSE

I had a similar problem trying to get to Bridport via Yeovil the other day. The main roundabout was closed. I followed the diversion sign but after 100 yrd it said end of diversion. No it bloody isn't! I want to be the other side of this on the A30. I followed a car who looked like he knew where he was going and eventually popped out a few miles down. About 5 miles later the bloody road was closed with 2 signs next to each other saying "diversion" and "end of diversion".

dont get me started on this. this has been going on for MONTHS and not only did the roundabout stop being a roundabout every evening they closed the approach roads and lots of other roads around it, usually when i was driving towards them, usually late at night. the satnav helpfully kept directing me down alternative roads THAT WERE IN FACT CLOSED AS WELL. i got so bloody lost on so many bloody occasions.one of the best was when i got sandwiched between an abnormal load and the escort car. HILARIOUS

gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

(its still raw)

after watching the vid-bit niche, i know, I WILL NEVER GO TO FERNDOWN AGAIN-NOT EVER EVER EVER

I kid you not
This is one of the most read and shared articles in Dorset's on-line news.

"...there have been several bumps already as people get used to the system." “But it’s working pretty much as well as we could have hoped.”

Relax and watch a 5 minute video of someone negotiating the new road junction. It may well be Chris Slocock himself.
