In the modern age every child has committed some kind of crime be it murder or listening to Justin Bieber sans headphones. The only exception to this rule is the fat kids because who wants to hang around with a fat kid. Without wanting to use hyperbole we stand on the shoulders of history. Will we become the post apocalyptical society of Mad Max? Or the idealistic community of Star Trek? One thing is for sure entertainment has predicted our future thus entertainment will become our saviour.<br /> Last week Prime Minister David Cameron announced plans to send the more dangerous young people to the beautiful Bel Air area of California. Speaking at the press conference Mr. Cameron said, ‘I just saw Men in Black III. It caused me to chortle quite a bit. But it got me thinking about Will Smith’s trouble youth and the help he got.. Now this is the story about his life got flipped, turned upside down. I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, I’ll tell you the story of how he became the prince of a town called Bel Air. He got in a fight outside of the school but was he sent to prison? No, he went to Bel Air to be taught morals in a comical manner by his Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian. Without any cost to the Tax payer he went from zero to hero. And, yes, I have asked Obama to tech me Charlton’s dance but he won’t’ In response Will Smith had this to say, ‘that was just a TV show.’<br /> But can there really be just a TV show? Last week a man performed major heart surgery after watching an episode of Scrubs. Now, Dr. Henry Oliver denies Scrubs playing any part but what other explanation can there be? By reporting on a minor crime in a city we’ve never heard of, then treating it as regular occurrence to boast ratings 24 hour news have taught us crime has never been so bad. TV has gotten us into this mess the polite thing to do is to get us out of it as well. </p>
