In a surprising development, that would be worthy of science fiction, a leading lawyer and team of researchers from UCL have discovered the presence of a ‘yoctotruth’ whilst going over footage of the Leveson Inquiry. Previously it had not been thought that such a level of truth could actually be achieved whilst under oath.

A ‘yoctotruth’, which is 0.000000000000000000000001 of a truth, is theoretically the lowest level of truth that can be measured. Prior to this, the lowest level ever detected was a ‘zeptotruth’ (0.000000000000000000001 of a truth) at the Iraq Inquiry, though this will now have to be rechecked with the new equipment.
