Clegg has been quoted as saying ' I could of done a deal with Cameron yesterday but I was too nervous to agree to it just in case I have to get involved in some power share deal where i'm going to have to make some of my wishy washy policies really work and now i'm going to have to blag Browns lot tomorrow morning for the same reason'.<br /> The Liberal Democrat Leader was then reported to have said ' I can't believe it's come to this. When I agreed to be leader of the Liberal Democrats I had no idea that one day I would have to involve myself in actually doing something real in politics. I just thought it was some cushy number where I could earn money for old rope in a job where I could be sure I wouldn't end up running nothing but sweet fanny adams'. </p>
