He even cited hard data in the article to back up his assertion, facts like it was 'the most talked-about film of the year', and that suspense 'arrived in bucketloads'. As a man who only sees one film a year, objective statistics like that are vital."</p> <p>However his suspicions were raised when the Oscars last month seemed to contradict the unnamed author of the review, with no mention of the film or anyone connected with this story of an alien monster set loose in a small Ohio town. </p>
