Spot on Quaz. What would we be saying if that had happened in Zimbabwe? And didn't the people of Zimbabwe vote against Mugabe but end up with Mugabe as their President?

Hmmm.

World leaders as diverse as Hamid Karzai, Robert Mugabe, Kim Il Jong were tonight lining up to endorse the UK election as a free and fair process.

"This is exactly how an election should be run" said Karzai. "Voters send away for 'lack of baallot papers' is always a good wheeze". Mugabe is said to be disapointed at the lack of opposition supporters being beaten senseless by hired goons, but generally happy with the corruption of postal votes. Kim Il Jong has said "Personally, I'd have felt much happier if dissenters had been threatened with their families being taken away for biological warfare experiments, but it's not for me to argue with the cultural norms of UK society."
