It's not my greatest ever work. It does describe Julia Gillard as a "squawking harridan". But it's not full of 'insulting' stereotypes - it uses Australian slang and I maintain that's different. But I bridled a little at the suggestions you made DorsetBoy because a) I don't go in for negative, insulting comedy as I hope my subs show; and b) I often don't like stuff that makes it on here, but I prefer to keep my counsel rather than insult the work publicly. Example: despite being rarely offended, I was a bit upset to see "cure for depression hailed as man pulls self together and gets on with it" the other day. I thought that was insulting and patronising, but you know what? It's not the end of the world, and the more we douse the less likely we are to push the boundaries. </p> <p>Anyway, whinge over. I'll bear the impression it gave in mind.
