According to informed sources in the media, a gypsy woman from Essex has placed a curse on the programme for demeaning and stereotyping the gypsy community in referring to them as 'travellers' when a more politically correct term might have been 'geographically challenged'.</p> <p>'Apparently this woman was the seventh child of a seventh child - yeah, they breed like rabbits, don't they?,' said Channel 4 executive Laura Marshall. The woman, who insists on not being named due to legal reasons, has stated that the program demeans and stereotypes the people of the gypsy community, or as she refers to them - the “geographically challenged minority”.</p> <p>“People have a view that we are a bunch of lazy travellers who offer nothing to society, this program depicts us as spray-tanned idiots who wear dresses that make us look like badminton shuttlecocks”. </p> <p>The gypsy woman finished off by saying that “anyone who insists on continuing to fuel the stereotype of gypsies will be cursed for all of their lives, and their children will have no sons.” She waved her hands menacingly as she looked up to the skies and proceeded to dance a satanic jig around her caravan, bumping her head on her low ceiling in the process several times. </p>
