Need to do a bit of work this morning. I was thinking. Machine to Machine communications is one of the big growth areas in technology. Mobile broadband gives machines the chance to talk to each other everywhere and they can make more and more decisions for themselves. But as soon as machines get intelligent, they're going to start diversifying into personality types. If I was a vending machine, in a sports centre, I'd really resent it if some uppity rack of servers on a data centre kept checking up on me. "How's your stock levels? Do you need replenishing.
