At first Hector Junes was superstitious about taking over the Wishee Washee role, given his predecessor’s actions, but my goodness, we just gave a laundry list to our costume manager and she was an absolute trouper, getting onto those bloodstains the moment she was released from hospital. Hector’s thrilled!”</p> <p>Pinnock confirmed that other changes would have to be made to the programme. “Looks like the Genie of the Lamp’s going to have to work his magic from an enchanted wheelchair, unfortunately. And some local kids are stepping in to play Shrub One, Shrub Two and Shrub Three as the original Shrubbery we had lined up was mown down in the hail of crossbow bolts.
