The event took place much to the bewilderment of the crowds who had turned up to see the latest Marks and Spencers 'Simply Food' store open in the foyer of Leicester Square's Odeon cinema. </p> <p>The tiny smattering of fans there to see the actual film, said that whilst it was a pain to wear the glasses during the film, 'it did make the actors look slightly more alive than in real life', and that Pete Postlethwaite did look 'a marked improvement on his real self' portraying a tramp who dies very quickly.
