Go for it Plucky.
Like Mr.Riot says, such opportunties come by so rarely.
It is truely a once-in-a-lifetime experience (unless of course, you do it again)
It would certainly be one of those 'rememeber it for the rest of my life' moments.
You will kick yourself if you don't do it.
I'm still waiting for him to play Ottery St.Mary but he has missed it again on this tour

Thanks for that, Mr Riot. The seats are quite high up, on one side and quite a long way from the stage. I don't really want to just see him on a giant TV. I was of your mind - to see him before he pops his clogs (and I pop mine, come to that!). I will have a rethink...thanks again.

Unfortunately Plucks, £100 a seat only gets you a very mediocre view, but they usually have giant screens. Stadium gigs are hardly intimate anyway. It's not a normal price - £30-£50 is about right for most major bands, but you're paying to see a legend before he turns up his toes (leg-end, toes, geddit??). I think the lowest price Stones ticket on their recent US tour was $625.

I suggest you and Mrs Munky jointly agree to an early Xmas present, you won't find McCartney doing many more gigs on your doorstep (anyway, I heard his band's on the run). Carpe Diem!

Me and Mrs Munky want to go to his concert at the Millenium Stadium, in June. On the net, I have been quoted £100 a ticket, by seemingly reputable sites. I admit to not having been to a big gig for years. Is this a normal sort of price? It's a bit out of our price-range!
