Cunard announced today that they intend to buy up the Navy's old Type 22's, 23's, Frigates, destroyers, Aircraft Carriers and even a few Submarines, as they look to take advantage of the Icelandic Ash incident and offer alternative cruise holidays to those who cannot fly to their holiday destination.

It will be an impressive addition to their fleet and Cunard management are looking forward to being able to offer something unique in the world of cruises.

The first converted Trident Submarine, The QES3 will set sail on it's maiden voyage late this week. It has had an extensive refit, with lashings of Oak fittings, Marble worktops, crystal torpedo tubes and the periscope images are now relayed via 3 50 inch plasma screens situated throughout.

A spokesman for Cunard stated: "With air travel so under threat, we aim to offer a holiday alternative, be it parking your car on an Aircraft carrier deck and watching in awe as it is taken below on hydraulics. Or you can dive in a Trident submarine where there are no balconies, or outdoor games areas, but a very speedy way of getting to the beach (Via purpose built beachpedos) that get you there in the lap of luxury."

The new Naval Gazing range of holiday experiences are available now through all good travel agents, and Navy recruitment offices.
