I can't see why we can't have an alternative Olympics which contain all of the stupid events like Synchronized Swimming.

Perhaps there's an article in there about a Manly Olympics involving Train Surfing on Japanese Bullet Trains, Extreme Ironing in the Lion Enclosure at London Zoo, Underwater Tug-of-War in a Shark Tank or Crossing The Channel using only Lego Bricks.

Console yourself, Paper Ostrich, with the knowledge that it is in fact you who has gone mad. You're an Ostrich. Made out of paper. Yesterday was un-bee-leevable cars driving in the rain. If you can't see that, you have your head stuck in the paper sand....

The commentary for 2 hours of nothing during the red flag was fantastic. My favourite bit was when Martin Brundle tried to keep David Coulthard talking by use of the amazing fact that 'racecar' is the same backwards as it is forwards. He knows how a blown exhaust works, but couldn't remember the word palindrome :) Classic!

I admit I didn't see it, but as far as I can make it out it was CARS DRIVING IN RAIN. Either I, or the world, has gone mad. Hm.
