Menacingly, the consequences for those who were not on the list were never stated.</p> <p>The Lappish FA responded angrily to the remarks, and are taking legal advice on their options. But one of the Lapland bid's official sponsors, Coca Cola, is said to be considering withdrawing their support.</p> <p>Lapland's bid was finally rejected on the grounds that they never qualify, all of the facilities would have to be built from scratch and that the climate is inappropriate. Instead, the competition was awarded to Qatar. </p>
