With massive unsustainable debts it seems the only way forward is for the Country to sell up and move to a smaller cheaper location. The Irish Government has looked at the possibility<br /> of renting part of Eastern Siberia from Russia with the Russian Goverment purchasing Eire with a view to letting.<br /> Other possibilities include purchasing part of Northern Mauritania and Western Sahara but it is unknown if Eire would have the necessary deposit and furture income to secure a mortgage from the IMF. This would leave the future of the land fomerly known as Eire uncertain. A new buyer may be an exisiting country but the UK Government has expressed a definite No, being too politically incorrect to purchase Eire and lack of funding. Homeless peoples such as Nepal or the Kurds may be interested but it is thought to be a large risk that these people would try to move in only to find their new homes occupied by travellers. </p>
