			<description>&#60;p&#62;Members of the public have until 6th May to register for a new member of parliament free of charge if they scrap their current one. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Current rules state that the MP must be proven to be outdated, out of touch and obsolete to qualify for scrappage. Industry experts are expecting a surge in interest for the scheme in the next month, with a predicted take-up rate of over 50% in areas such as the North of England and Scotland. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Analysis has shown the most popular MPs to be scrapped are red ones, which are mostly likely to be replaced with blue or possibly yellow.
