I'm just drinking some Jamaican Dragon Stout from my Tesco trip. Lovely stuff. 7.5 ABV or similar.

Cheers!

Chapeau!

(p.s. "Fundamentally" was particularly good)

Religious groups around the world have united in welcoming a new social networking site that is designed to make religion more accessible to young people.

FaithBook offers features that mirror those on similar networking sites, but reflect the diversity of global religious practices and beliefs. Users build up their own network of contacts, or Society of Friends. They communicate with each other by writing on their Wailing Walls, or by direct messaging via the Tablet facility. Specially-designed emoticons range from Sunni (happy) to Shiite (sad), and include Catholic (disapproving), Hindu (vegetarian) and Zen (‘whatever’).

In an exciting revamp of the craze for collectibles, FaithBook users can visit a separate room on the site to buy or swap ‘virtual’ Poke-a-Nun cards. ‘Fancy a He-Brew?’ is a separate discussion forum about builder’s tea.

The company behind the site, God-U-Like Inc is headed by Marvin B. Schadenfreude III. He commented yesterday on the response to the site: “Fundamentally, I haven’t had any feedback from any branches of Islam, and I don’t believe the Atheist community has commented yet. The Amish aren’t impressed because it uses electricity, but the Jehovah’s Witnesses have been knocking on my door all morning.”
