The furore over the rights of b&bs to turn away people they feel shouldn't be allowed to stay in their homes shows no sign of abating. One Thursday it was revealed that a Welsh man turned up to the now notorious B&B at Swiss cottage with his sheep, only to be told that the owners didn't approve and asked them to leave.

The man,who wished to be unnamed said: "I just bought this beauty at a cattle market near Lincoln and we were driving back when I felt overtaken by the urge.Mr Phillips, the owner of the b&b said the reason for his objection was that I had lied on the register and put our names down as MR and MRS. Smith;I wholly refute this claim."
