Our members are quite capable of piloting a 42 Tonne articulated truck around ice strewn roundabouts while only inches from the back of a nervous family of four in a Nissan Micra while having a blazing row with their girlfriend. After all, they do it for a living.”</p> <p>The call was supported by other pressure groups as well. A spokeswoman for Mumsnet added that “As multitasking, busy mothers driving large vehicles at a speed to suit our own mood, we don’t believe these rules were ever framed for us. It’s throwing the baby out with the bathwater.” </p>
