Tatiana Tallbigtitieff is reported to have called Mr Blatter 'the big man of football'. While comments from delegates from Spain/Portugal and Belgium/Holland of 'magnifico' and 'groots' respectively went down quite well, the 'Ta luv' which came with the English bid was perceived as simply being 'a means to an end.'</p> <p>As FIFA delegates zipped up their flies and headed home to their wives they were adamant that in a global process there was always something new to explore and that in coming to their decision they accepted their privileged positions but admitted they 'had learnt a very great deal indeed'.</p> <p>Roman Abramovich, head of the Russian FA, has stated that the decison was the right one and that Mr Blatter 'can use his yacht any time', while the King of Qatar insisted that players should be alowed as many balls as they need in 2022 and that delegates would be rewarded handsomely in the same terms 'if you know what I mean'.</p> <p>An understanding and contrite FA accepted the decison but warned that further FIFA conferences would be met with protests, investigations by the tabloid press or even a response from Vinny Jones. </p>
