<p>Owners of the San Jose mine in Chile have announced they will reopen the mine rescue shaft to allow disaffected, leftie, republicans to escape the impending UK royal nuptuals. Owners insist there will be no radio, TV, internet or radio coverage of the happy occasion and expect a big demand from the UK's chattering classes. Manager Carlos di Santos said "We are encouraging applications to hide down the mine as soon as the date is known. Some restrictions will apply - no smokers, Sun,Daily Mail, Daily Express readers, will be accepted. For access reasons, persons with a waist measurement of over 40" cannot be accepted."
