Another avenue if approach is to buy yourself a copy of the Writer's Handbook - and look at the list of production companies therein. Some (though not many) accept unsolicited scripts, so you could send soe of your material to them.

This is how I got my first (and almost only!) stuff broadast :-)

Why not try getting 10-15 FP's on that 'satirical news' website I hear people talking about - as good a place to start as any I would have thought.
Give it a try, nothing to lose

Watson's Wind Up - but I think the material needs to have a Scottish angle so keep the punch lines deep fried.

Writers Room at the Beeb seems a good place to start. As well as NewsJack and RFTP, I think there's a Scottish BBC radio show that takes subs that's been mentioned on here, but I can't remember the name.

They'll take any old crap these days. Just mention David Mitchell in the synopsis and you're home and dry.

Well done Ludo if you've had stuff aired, which is more than I've managed. I did get asked for a re-write once.

I think it's important to listen to as much different radio comedy as you can, so you know what works and what you like, and then do it in your own way.

Keep an eye out for 'open submission' shows such as NewsJack and Recorded for Training Purposes - although be warned there are thousands of people sending in material so you do need to be remarkably persistant. I find sleeping with the producer also helps.

Good luck.

I've seen some people on here making mention of jokes/sketches they've sent to R4, can someone let me know how to do that?

Also any tips would be appreciated.
