We had to cancel the 1937 event after taking the ground breaking decision to cut the hulls away from the bottom of the boats so that the crew's could run around with them on the desert floor instead. Unfortunatley for us that year it just so happened there was a freak rain storm in the Sahara and the regata had to be called off due to the course being water logged'. </p> <p>World Health Experts are siting this as the worst example of over exposure to the sun they'd ever seen . A spokesperson for World Health commented ' we thought the Mayan Tribe had gone a bit tonto due to too much sun worship with their lunatic activity causing them to make crazy forecasts of armageddon but this lot take the biscuit.
