I once had to go on a date with a five-foot man for a feature I was writing.

There's a whole bunch of questions posed by that statement. Being stupidly lofty, I find short men funny- am I correct in thinking that your feature is evidence that women find them mirthsome?

1) I was on Blue Peter when I was 11 because my school choir was singing to the Pope - and I have the Blue Peter Badge to prove it (fat lot of fecking use it has been - tried to use it once to get into Chessington World of Adventures and they wouldn't accept it).
2) Emma Bunton once stole some cheese from my husband.
3) I once had to go on a date with a five-foot man for a feature I was writing. When we hugged farewell at the end of the night, he head-butted my boobs.

I've always said that when I win the lottery, I'm going to buy one of the Georgian Terraced houses in the New Town, having stayed at Tigerlily in George Street a few times. I love Dundee, and am proud of where I live, but the variety of everything in Edinburgh is fantastic. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

Edward, parachuting was a 'gift' from Mrs Wallster for my 40th. A day's training then I could throw myself out of a plane and land on my arse in a corn field. Great fun. Did it 3 times before my training expired. I'd recommend it to anyone with strong knees.

My dad nearly got shot by Robert Mugabe's henchmen (FACT)
We were at my sister's graduation in Edinburgh on the infamous occasion they were giving the old bastard an honorary degree (Mugabe, not dad, who is SO not an old bastard and who got his degree all by himself). Dad made the near-fatal mistake of deploying his Kodak Ektra camera from his pocket to his sights a little fast for Mugabe's thugs' liking, and the earth-slowing moment when they whipped round and their hands shot to the insides of their jackets will haunt me forever.
