From our court correspondent Ivor Smallworm.
"This is a great day for justice and ordinary folk like me" said Lord Bradley Fatcat (57) outside the Court of Justice an 'Ting in Balham, East London today. Lord Fatcat was originally prosecuted for travelling at 422 knots in his BMW Exterminator past the 60mph sign on the M42 but he - and many other speeders will now get off because it appears the sign was in the wrong font. When asked if his friendship with the judge - Lord Justice Courtcase (89)- had any part in the findings he denied it saying "Well it's true I play the occasional game of Wiffwaff with him, but who doesn't these days - I don't really know him much".

After hearing from the Minister for Roads and Crop Circles Cecil Dimly (46) and Constable Lurker (17) who made the arrest, Judge Courtcase found in favour of Lord Fatcat and all the others caught at the spot - ordering full restoration of points on their licences and compensation of £80,000 each with 10% to him. In summing up he said "We are British and we don't make signs in the wrong font willy nilly. How can you expect a modern motorist to see a sign if the numerals are taller than usual? They only have a split second to view them while travelling at over 90 - ahem 70 and texting, setting the Satnav, cancelling that annoying notice that says your car is a year overdue for a service and so forth - case dismissed".

Today, it can be exclusively revealed that Rupert Murdoch is the man behind the riots which have taken place across England in the last week.

In an ironic twist to the scandal it has been exposed that Channel 4’s Phonehacker was commissioned by an unknown source to spy on Rupert Murdoch. The investigations uncovered that Rupert has been visiting vulnerable youths, in the poorest areas of London, paying them cash to start riots and initiate looting.

Once he had paid a few kids and got the ball rolling, he realised that he didn’t even need to visit or compensate them anymore. Rupert set up several Twitter accounts and Facebook events inviting individuals 'with a really IQ' to join in the copycat looting. One such event invited scumbags to “cum an' burn down dat shop where da rich spend money – Poundland”.

It can also be revealed that the infamous picture of a looter proudly showing off his stolen Tesco Value basmati rice is Rupert Murdoch himself, said to be having a little fun and seeing just how far he could push it.

Murdoch has confessed to starting this atrocity in an attempt to take the news spotlight away from the phone hacking scandal. He was hoping the British Government and media would stop focussing on him, allowing his quest to take over the Universe to continue uninterrupted.
