			<title>A.Parody on "Kim Nominated with Posthumous Oscar for role as Kim Jong-il"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Yuri Irsenovich Kim is to be nominated for a posthumous Oscar and Life time achievement award at the forth coming 84th Academy Award Ceremony in February. Kim, who famously undertook the role of tyrant Kim Jong-il in the much troubled state of North Korea for 20 years, was found dead in his sea-front fortified compound last night.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Controversial reports have been circulating as to the innocence of Kim’s demise, but unfortunately the source of these claims had mysteriously checked out their hotel leaving everything in it including: wallet, phone, passport, car keys and car. Studio directors at the DPRK refused to corroborate these reports and rubbished them stating, under the watchful eye of suspected successor (stage-name) Kim Jong-un, “[These are] mindless attempts to destroy the reputation of the finest and most charismatically well styled gentleman ever to have lived since David Hasselhoff decided to &#60;em&#62;Jump in [his] car&#60;/em&#62;.”&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;News of his nomination was received jubilantly within the Hollywood community. In an interview with actor Tam Cruise, Kim was heralded as an &#60;em&#62;extremist&#60;/em&#62;. “Always pushing himself to the very edge, carrying his audiences to the absolute brink, be it kicking and screaming, or in the dead of night by armed men in balaclavas.”&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Kim's most famous role caused much controversy amongst the western world, with his detailed depiction of the leftwing tyrant Kim Jong-il. Kim’s other credits include Supreme Leader in the 2009 box-office smash &#60;em&#62;North Korea&#60;/em&#62;, the eponymous hero in &#60;em&#62;Dear Leader&#60;/em&#62; as well as Inn Keeper in &#60;em&#62;The Nativity Play&#60;/em&#62; which premiered at Primary School No. 4 in 1955.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Kim, or Yuri to his friends, who famously lead a very private life, refused to comment for Vanity Fare when news of a potential nomination started circulating back in 1991. But in an interview with NK News, Kim alluded to the huge strain the role was putting on him controversially ousting the costume department for lack imagination. “Everyone likes playing the villain from time to time, but it hasn’t helped my sex appeal like it did with Colin Farrell. I do find it hard to get to know girls, they don’t seem to believe that it’s just a role, I’m great fun really.”&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The Academy decision to nominate Kim for the award posthumously has been received with an ecstatic reception. John Crook, actor and barman on Sunset Boulevard said “What a fantastic portrayal of right wing absurdist behaviour, we were all convinced he was a complete c***, I guess that’s what great acting is.”

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Thanks people. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;And thanks for the suggestion Oxy. It was mad enough writing it with Chris Eubank and now you want Tommy Trinder? Here's a clip of the great man to keep everyone happy. &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-cKswoazMY&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-cKswoazMY&#60;/a&#62;

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Nice idea, but one suggestion. The real Queen didn't to the best of my knowledge have a lisp but she did speak in this awful strangulated accent (recordings of her as a young woman must be easy enough to find) that even toffs found grating. Would something about how she learned to talk common with the help of, say, some Cockney geezer comedian of the 1950s (Tommy Trinder?) work better? Just a thought.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Award winning actor Colin Firth has confirmed that he will star in a sequel to The King’s Speech, The Queen’s Lisp, in which he plays the young Queen Elizabeth II as she struggles to overcome a terrible speech impediment.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘Playing The Queen will be the biggest challenge of my acting career,’ said Firth, ‘Judi Dench has done it, Helen Mirren has done it, but until I play this role then I simply cannot be taken seriously as an actor.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Set in 1952, the film tells the moving story of Elizabeth who ascends to the throne but is unable to speak in public without pronouncing her sibilants as interdentals. The reason for her lisp is unclear although, according to the film, she has been traumatised by her husband, Philip, who continually says inappropriate things due to a tragic case of Tourettes. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;In a desperate attempt to overcome her lisp the young monarch visits an unconventional speech therapist, played by Chris Eubank. Ironically he can’t even pronounce the word ‘therapist’. Eubank helps her to conquer her lisp by teaching her to box and fight like a warrior. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘The Queen’s Lisp will be a mixture of Royalty and Rocky,’ said Firth, ‘but as I train for the biggest fight of my life, running through the snow in a delicate lavender dress with matching bonnet and boxing gloves, I really hope to play the part of Her Majesty with the reverence and humility that it deserves.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Historians have been quick to point out that Queen Elizabeth II has never had a lisp or trained as a boxer. However, director Tom Hooper defends his vision. ‘The Queen’s Lisp is based on a true story,’ he said, ‘Ok, so it’s not 100% historically accurate and it never actually happened, but dramatically it’s true.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The Queen’s Lisp has already been nominated for twelve Academy Awards despite the fact that it hasn’t even been made yet. ‘This film has everything,’ said Firth, ‘royalty, boxing, a speech impediment and a man in a dress. They may as well just give me the Oscar now.’

			<title>Genghis Cohen on "David Cameron scoops best actor Oscar"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Conservative Party leader David Cameron last night beat off stiff competition from Hollywood legends Morgan Freeman and Jeff Bridges to win this year’s coveted Academy Award for best actor for his captivating portrayal of a common man making his way among the privileged and the powerful.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘It’s a real Everyman story, isn’t it?’ said industry mogul, Hank Chin. ‘Wealthy young man goes to Eton and Oxford, marries the daughter of the 8th baronet and then vies for the highest political office in the land. Everyone in Hollywood fell for his lovable, feel-good character, and I’m sure he’ll storm the box offices in May.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘The story’s great, but it’s really Cameron’s performance that carries the whole show,’ continued Chin. ‘As a man struggling for the approval he craves while attempting to conceal the moral and emotional vacuum at the very core of his being, he’s remarkable. And like the greatest actors, so much of the power of the performance is in what’s not said. The words might be empty, but you’re left in no doubt exactly what it is he wants.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘He played the whole part superbly,’ agreed critic Winona Hoff, ‘but of all the memorable scenes it’s the ‘We can’t go on like this’ speech which really stands out. It was painful to see him feeling an entire nation’s disappointment, but at the same time promising them deliverance. It just shows the extent of his character’s self-deception and how skilfully Cameron played the part. When they played it back word-for-word at the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;‘Ultimately, though, you know an actor is something special when his performance shows you something about yourself,’ continued Hoff. ‘And even now as I stare into Cameron’s shining forehead on the billboard posters, it’s as if I see myself looking back at me. Amazing.’&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The award rounded off a great evening for the Tories as George Osborne picked up the best supporting actor gong for his moving display of an accountant shamed by his difficulty with numbers, and Cameron’s make-up team won the Oscar for best effects.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But as Cameron began his acceptance speech without notes and thanked his stylist, nutritionist, personal trainer, voice coach, hairdresser and everyone at the Sunny Side Up tanning salon, there was embarrassment as he came to an abrupt halt following a problem with the autocue. ‘He’s a true pro, though,’ purred a Tory aide. ‘He really brought the house down with that ‘Broken Hollywood’ quip. There’s no way they’ll be voting for change next year.’

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Unemployed John Prestwick of Barnet was said to be in complete shock last night after bookies made him favourite to take the cinematography Oscar at this years awards ceremony. John was nominated for an Oscar for his pirate version of Hurt Locker that he filmed at the Odeon in Watford with his brother in laws' camcorder which critics have since praised for adding a gritty, realistic layer to the original film.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Editor of Empire magazine David Maddison is a big fan of the 'Prestwick treatment' as it's now being called saying &#34;I applaud this type of guerrilla filming which gives a really nice documentary feel to the whole piece. When I saw the original I thought it was good but I felt like a lone outsider looking in though when you add in the coughs and whispers from the fellow audience members and the shaky camera it makes you feel like you're sitting right there in the cinema, almost like a film within a film, a fantastic concept. When the guy with the popcorn walked in front of the camera at 1hr24m I craned my neck to try and look around him it was that convincing&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Others who have seen the film have cited the subplot of John trying not to be caught by the staff as a stroke of genius. President of the Academy of Motion pictures Tom Sherak said &#34;I'm sure I wasn't alone in holding my breath as John ducked down in his seat every time an usher walked past, with every shine of a torch beam I was literally gripping the seat in anticipation that any minute he could be frogmarched into the manager's office. I was particularly keen on his journey to the toilet where the camera is focused on his feet the entire time with the dialogue of the film getting further away until it's finally replaced by the sound of urination.  Of course my favourite part was the omission of the last 15 minutes which leaves the audience hanging indefinitely, no credits just a blank screen and loud rustling noises , very reminiscent of early Lynch I thought&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;As John was preparing to be flown out to Los Angeles by the organisers he spoke about his next big project &#34;I'm planning to film the whole ceremony on my mobile phone and sell it down the market when I get back&#34;
