			<description>&#60;p&#62;In a attempt to pacify the French outcry over his recent quips about Sarkozy, today George Osborne has issued a statement to clarify his love of all things French.  Speaking at the Anglo-French Peace Talks in Geneva Mr. Osborne said “I think in one respect Mr. Sarkozy is a great European leader of similar stature to Napoleon …”. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Reactions from the Élysée Palace have so far not been encouraging.
