The trick is, as you doze off, you have your index finger on the vol button and reduce it to a level compatible with snooze mode. Then your subconscious mind can follow all the action for you. When it's a goal, he shouts so loudly it wakes you up just in time to see the goal and its several replays from different angles. But when they get over-excited like that and wake you up under totally false pretensions, it's a bastard rip-off, no other way to describe it.
