Bravo Mr Minnit

Meanwhile, I feel IDS talents are wasted. His droning voice could be better deployed in the position of 'peace envoy' in the middle east (vice that orange hypocrite B-liar). Imagine if you will, as a bitter protagonist in a pointless and vitriolic conflict, having to listen to IDS banging on about peaceful resolution.

I'd chuck it the towel instantly and run with my hands over my ears. Anything to make that awful noise stop. Bombs are as the music of the spheres by comparison.

Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith has referred to 'hard working families' for what is believed to be a record millionth time.

Tory cliche watcher and counter Professor John Banks of Cambridge University, said he believed Duncan Smith had probably beaten David Cameron and George Osborne in the race to see who would be the first to notch up a million 'hard-working families' remarks.

The Work and Pensions Secretary was replying to remarks by former children's minister Sarah Teather who condemned the government's cap on welfare benefits as 'immoral'.

But supporters of Duncan Smith defended his use of hard working families'.

'To remember to use the phrase time and time again, is hard work,' said one Tory MP.

'Mr Duncan Smith should put a cap on it,' said Sarah Teather.
