			<title>victimms on "Downton Abbey to change name for third series"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Popular ITV1 drama Downton Abbey will see significant changes when it returns next year for its third series.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Due to the growing demand for its Sunday night time slot the turn of the century drama will see the emphasis move away from the big house and lavish costumes.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The move comes after weeks of speculation that there is too much of the programme in between the adverts.  ITV insiders were quick to defend this.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;'9pm on Sunday night is now seen as the most lucrative time to get products seen. Advertisers have informed us of a sharp rise in sales of their products and if we can increase the drama we see that as a winner' said ITV1’s Head of Drama, Laura Mackie. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;With the current run due to end this Sunday ITV1 say they are willing to accept the inevitable loss of advertising revenue while Downton Abbey is off air.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;'Without the sponsorship of Aviva or the other advertisers we would have to shut down production on the programme altogether’.  She insisted this was the furthest thing from her mind.  ‘We don’t envisage bringing the most popular period drama on television to an end anytime soon' and she stated quite clearly 'All we want is to incorporate the programme into the adverts.  That way we will have little need to insert breaks' &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Statistics show that viewers are tuning into the ad-breaks and showing less interest in the show.  Viewers with Hard Drive Recorders are significantly more likely to ‘skip’ through portions of the broadcasts.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Having been questioned about their viewing habits an astonishing 90% of ITV's viewers confirmed that they much prefer to fast forward through the programme and watch the adverts.  It would seem this is fast becoming a trend amongst avid watchers.  By completion of a questionnaire the consensus was that the adverts contained more drama than any plot Downton Abbey could muster.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Laura Mackie concluded that 'with the consistently high ratings and the advertising revenue going hand in hand, we have decided to rename Downton Abbey to Downton Ad-Break'

			<title>victimms on "Wills And Kate Hit Skid Row"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;As part of their tour of Canada and Hollywood the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an impromptu guest appearance at a gig held by rock band Skid Row.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;For the first time in his life and unlike his Grand-Mother, William had no need to ask ‘And what do you do’.   He knew all too well ‘what they do’.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Picking up a guitar and throwing the strap over his shoulder, William instantly remembered the chords of ‘Youth Gone Wild’, the Row’s biggest hit.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Being a fan of the band since early childhood, and having attended several of their concerts Kate couldn’t recall seeing William in the group.  That, however, was probably due to the fact that, firstly, he was introduced as Wills.I.Am.Not, and secondly he was dressed in a long dark wig, leather trousers and check shirt.  With the addition of dark glasses once owned by Ozzy Osbourne it’s not surprising she failed to recognise him.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Kate could not believe her luck that, not only has she bagged herself a Prince, but a Prince of Rock.  These were moments she would treasure for the rest of her life.  The wedding may have been a fairy tale, but this really was a dream come true.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It wasn’t until the Prince (of rock) came off stage that he was informed by one of his aides that they’d ended up at the wrong venue.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;He took it all in good faith and even managed a dig at his brother. He said “maybe one day my brother Harry will reach the heights of Skid Row”.

			<title>victimms on "SPANISH SIX SPOIL STEREOTYPE"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Six holiday makers annoyed the owner of their Spanish hotel this week by not smashing the place up in drunken brawls, by not throwing up in hallways, or by having sex in elevators.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The lack of upsetting noise, violence and general drunken debauchery from this group of civilised holiday makers caused such rage and fury in Carlos Sultana, the owner of La Platha Cenza that it drove him to the brink of suicide.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So incensed was he at not having to clear up after this un-loutish group that he was almost forced to close the hotel for the rest of the summer.  Even after begging some of the lads and offering them to stay for another week free of charge was not enough incentive for them to change their behaviour.  He even considered making the mess himself, so as not to lose face in front of other hotel owners in the region.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;With some negotiation, staff worked extra hours to break a few tables, smash bottles and glasses, and piss in the lobby.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;One of the hotels’ residents was reported to say “I’ve never witnessed this kind of behaviour before”.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Another patron stated “I couldn’t believe my eyes.  I mean, who do these young people think they are?”  “I shant be staying here again, not if I don’t have something to complain about”. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;A young lady, who was staying close by said she was shocked to see the group having fun around the pool, without a single beer bottle in sight.  She also commented “I didn’t know people of my age could act like human beings. Where do they come from?”&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We wanted to find out the answer to this conundrum, and discovered that, oddly enough these ‘people’ came from one of the most impoverished areas of the UK…Croydon.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Is it so unusual to find twenty-something’s with regard for civil holiday-making?  We visited one of the so called “Spanish Six” in their native habitat and asked why he felt the need to be so law abiding in another country.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;“Well”, said Mark, 22, “people of our age are always being dowsed in the same cheap lager that we thought we’d have a break from the usual Friday nights out”.
