If you are still reading then you are not a robot, according to scientists who devised the above heading to weed out potential robots from the future sent back in time to destroy humanity.
It has become a well known fact, despite not being a fact, that recursive logic is sufficient to undo even the most sinister robot. In 1989, a series of experiments were conducted where subjects were exposed to various logically recursive situations, to test their humanity. One experiment for example, was simply a man saying "This sentence is true ... ISN'T IT ROBOT?!" to the subject.
Though no robots were involved in the testing, they still scored poorly in comparison to the humans.
"When I first suggested the test, I was laughed out of the Royal Academy", said Dr. Khol, "but now, well now, they still laugh at me. Poopty head they call me, and sometimes they stick signs on my back that say kick me, when of course I do not wish to be kicked at all!".
"Robots from the future sent back to destroy humanity are a serious threat, much like Iraq was before Saddam Hussein was removed and peace restored", commented Dr. Khol's colleague, Dr. Khar. "Unfortunately, we seem to be the only people concerned. We'll see who's laughing when the robots attack and we're all dead.
Dr. Khol and Dr. Khar will being sneaking what they believe to be "robocidal" statements such as the headline for this article all of next week via various mediums. "If you're a robot, there's a good chance your human hating mind will melt next week", comments Dr. Khar. "We'll be sneaking the specially prepared recursive logic statements into all sorts of things; films, newspapers, lonely hearts collums -- not that you have hearts!".
Dr. Khar is especially eager to see the results; "The fun will start when their heads start exploding. Pop pop pop, all over the world!".
Hiya,
This is my first piece here, and I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on improving it. Anyone?
